Submission Guidelines

We would love to review and consider publishing your short stories, creative non-fiction (creative narrative), poetry, and B&W photography/artwork. If you are interested in submitting to us, these are the submission guidelines:

Send submissions to

  • Maximum word count for written works: 2,000 words
  • In the subject line of your email, put the semester and year that you’re submitting for as well as your first and last name (e.g. “Fall 2017: Jane Doe”)
  • In the body of your e-mail, include your name as you would like it to appear in the publication, your major, and your year
  • Label files with last name, first name, and title of work (e.g. “last, first_title”)
  • Include your submissions as attachments (either Word doc for written works or .jpg for photos/artwork)
  • Please don’t share your works via Google Drive
  • Please don’t submit PDFs

(All guidelines subject to staff discretion)

Other Notes:

  • Please send high-quality files for photography/artwork submissions (our recommended minimum resolution is 300 dpi)
  • There is no limit on how many submissions you may send us. If sending multiple submissions, please refrain from sending them as multiple emails. You may attach them as separate files within the email, or include them all in one document.


  1. How do you guys feel about little comic strips? But not like Garfield, more like little Graphic Novellas—serious pieces, packed with meaning, love, and all that jazz.
